Further, the van must be no more than 50 feet from the customers property to allow an electrical cable to be plugged into the customer's house mains
electricity supply.

Health and Safety is a huge consideration for Mud Magnets with regard to the customer, their pet and the public around the mobile grooming van at a
grooming appointment. An assessment will be made on arrival to prevent accidents and injuries to all parties. If the mobile van is unable to park near the
customer's house or it is assessed that environmental factors could cause the grooming appointment to be unsafe then the appointment will not
proceed. Mud Magnets reserves the right to charge fuel cost for appointments where the customer's property was known to be unacceptable at the time
of booking.

Deposit

For all new customers, if appropriate to proceed with the appointment, a deposit will be requested equivalent to half the cost of the service being booked.
The deposit must be made on the day of the initial consultation or phone booking to secure the appointment. If no deposit is made at this point, the
appointment will not be confirmed and a notification of cancellation will be sent. The deposit can be payed by bank transfer directly to the Mud Magnets
business account or by Debit/Credit card.

Cancellation Policy

We generally have full appointment lists and have customers waiting for a cancellation so we kindly ask our customers if they need to cancel their
appointment to give 24 hours notice. This allows customers waiting to be offered an appointment. The financial impact of last minute cancellations to a
small business like Mud Magnets is significant.  Therefore, to protect the business, the  following procedures will be enforced in the event of less than 24
hours notice being given:-

New customer's booking deposit will be retained

Existing customers will be required to pay a cancellation fee of the half the cost of the service that has been cancelled

Customers supplying a mobile contact number will be sent an automated text reminder of their appointment 48 hours prior to the appointment which we
anticipate will prevent the majority of last minute cancellations.

Non-Payment

We accept payment by Debit/Credit card, cheque, cash and bank transfer to Mud Magnets business account. The grooming bill must be payed in full at
the end of the appointment. If, in exceptional circumstances, it has not been possible to provide full payment on conclution of the grooming appointment,
a reminder letter will be sent 7 days following non-payment and a further 7 days will be given for payment to be made. Failure to pay following the
reminder letter will trigger the debt to be claimed through the court system.
